Develop your child’s love of creating edible art with Sugar Pop Bakery. We offer a wide range of workshops during school breaks for children aged 5 to adults.
Full workshops are usually grouped according to age groups and are kept to a limited number of students per class. The age group is a guide and it’s up to parents discretion as to the maturity level of their child. Kids who often do crafts and baking at home tend to find older groups manageable. Pre-booking is required for all enrolment to allow time for us to make sure each child has enough ingredients and attention on the day.
(Some workshops allow younger kids to be assisted with an adult helper. If the helper wishes to make their own, they will be charged as an entry.)
Kickstart 2026 with our fun Summer themed workshop at Sugar Pop Bakery this upcoming school holiday!
This is a solo activity workshop and suitable for younger kids. No parental supervision is needed. Parents for children 7 years old and younger and parents with special needs kids are welcome to help for free, please let us know to allocate a seat for you. Parents with older children will need to purchase an extra ticket if you wish to join in the fun!

Theme: Fruity Cake Pops
Cost: $99 per child
Date: Wednesday 7 January 2026
Group: 5 – 16 years old
Time: 10:00 am – 11 :30 pm (1.5 hours)
Learning Objectives:
1. Can I enrol my child if s/he is between age groups?
Yes! The age group is a guide as to the difficulty of the tasks and it’s up to the parent’s discretion regarding the maturity of your child and their experience with crafts/baking. If your child has taken our workshops before, they will be fine to join the older kids as well. Older kids who have younger siblings and wish to join them for the junior workshops, that is perfectly acceptable. There is no age restrictions with creative work.
2. Are there parking available on site?
There’s plenty of free parking along Asquith Street and within the building compound. Nearest cafes are at Sabah Cafe (100m walk from the bakery), Terminal 88 Cafe (next door), Starbucks and Mcdonalds.
3. Can parents join the workshop as well?
Yes. Parents can join the workshop for the same price as the kids. From past experience, parents who do so tend to miss out on much of the session as they will be distracted. We do have adult masterclasses as well as our casual sessions during the year for this reason.
Terms and Conditions for Workshops:
Refunds are not available once payment has been made under any circumstances. Please check the dates and times carefully before you book. All our workshops cater to a fixed number of students and any late cancellations mean that a place may have been denied to another student. This applies to any class bookings, group bookings, parties or gift vouchers. All class bookings are bound by these terms and conditions whether made online, over the phone, email or in person. If you have class credit, this is valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Money or goods cannot be exchanged for class credit under any circumstances. In the unlikely event that Sugar Pop Bakery has to cancel a class, we will offer a full refund , a credit or another place in another class if available. Your spot is only confirmed with a full payment and is transferable to another party should you be unable to attend.
